| Mike is a very experienced and widely respected watercolour Painter, Teacher and Demonstrator. He has been painting for over 20 years now, and although he began painting in oils, his real passion is watercolour painting. Mike says "I love the fresh transparent quality of the medium". Mike's artistic influences include Edward Seago, Edward Wesson and John Singer Sargent. He paints in a loose style but says that "there is always strong draughtmanship underneath". |

| As a Watercolour Artist he particularly enjoys painting landscapes, but also paints seascapes, buildings and still life. As a Teacher and Demonstrator, he gains a great deal of pleasure from sharing his enthusiasm for watercolour painting with others whilst demonstrating various watercolour methods and techniques to his students and audiences. |
